Rooted in the raw storytelling of Bob Dylan and the confessional warmth of Noah Kahan, Xander Chappell is an indie-folk singer-songwriter from the south of England with a rare gift for turning personal pain into universally felt songs.

Self-taught across piano and guitar, Chappell followed his ear long before any formal training. His debut album Without a Doubt — released March 2025 — announced a songwriter of genuine emotional range: eleven tracks charting heartbreak and self-discovery, anchored by standout cuts "The Other Guy" and "If It Were a Movie."

Now Chappell is making the most important record of his life. Written in the shadow of losing his father suddenly in December 2024, his forthcoming folk album channels grief, solitude, and the quiet strength that follows. Intimate, unflinching, and unquestionably personal — the sound of an artist stepping fully into his own voice.
